Over the years we have developed our curriculum and teaching staff to be the broadest, most flexible, and tailored online school in the UK. We continue to have working partnerships with a number of schools.
Our clients consist of schools (mainstream, academies, and special), councils, LAs, PRUs, and hospital outreach services.
Our students consist of Children in Care, SEND, SEMH, Medical Needs, and those with mental health issues (including Autism, Asperger’s, selective mutism, high anxiety, OCD, and the like).
We are imaginative. There are a range of programme options and discounts that allow our clients easily to refer their vulnerable student cohorts to Apricot. In some areas, schools have come together to purchase roll-on/roll-off seats.
The Apricot vision
We aim to provide for our students in four basic ways:
- Reengagement with learning
- Recognition of self-worth
- Reintegration to school, where possible
- Replacement of school, where necessary
What do we mean when we say we want our students to be successful in both life and learning?
Meet the team
We welcome all who are like-minded to join with us in improving the lives of vulnerable young people. Meet the team that works behind-the-scenes – and loves every minute of it. Effective teamwork begins and ends with communication. We are strong because being part of a team makes us selfless and feel that we are doing something for the greater good. (Mike Kryzewski)
Apricot is a team of dedicated educators passionate about improving their students’ lives.
