Long-term illness - What happens to your child's education?

When your child is diagnosed with a serious illness, what happens to their education?

If you’re lucky the hospital will have a hospital school which often consists of one or more classrooms. But getting to a classroom isn’t always possible for some children, and what if your youngster has an illness involving a long recuperation or convalescence at home? What are your options?

We’ve had great success with a number of students whose education has been interrupted by physical health problems because our teachers can schedule lessons around hospital appointments and treatment. It can be a distressing time, but our team is there to support you and your youngster to ensure that education and future success isn’t forfeited by medical problems.
