Hi, I’m Claire. I have been teaching for the last 20 years and joined Apricot teaching Maths in 2021. I really enjoy working with our students, especially as I’ve seen the challenges faced by so many SEND children in mainstream schools. At Apricot we are well equipped to be able to tailor our lessons to the needs of our students, whether that’s in 1:1 lessons or in small group lessons. Personalised learning frequently enables students to re-engage with their learning and feel a renewed sense of achievement in their own abilities – maybe even the discovery that they have abilities!
In my spare time I enjoy being creative, whether that’s through baking, sewing, painting, or seeing what random objects I can upcycle. I also enjoy spending time outdoors – walking and exploring my local area with my family.
